Senior Care Home Nurse

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Cancer Nursing Team at The Christie Private Care in Manchester. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.
About the Role
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, with a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including a £5k Golden Hello and Shift Allowance (if applicable). You'll be working as part of an experienced nursing team to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of specialist care to ensure patients are cared for in a safe, caring, and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of specialist care to patients with haematology or oncology conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of the nursing team.
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
- Significant post-registration experience within a haematology or oncology setting.
- Up-to-date knowledge and experience of the administration of SACT.
