About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Phoenix House, Stockton on Tees. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions for complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement engineering solutions from concept design to design for manufacture
  2. Identify design, statutory, and regulatory requirements, and contribute to risk assessments
  3. Produce technical reports, specifications, and scoping calculations
  4. Review technical deliverables, including reports and drawings
  5. Present engineering solutions to stakeholders and design reviews
  6. Deliver projects to time and budget
Requirements
  1. Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  2. Attained or working towards chartered or incorporated status with a recognised professional body
  3. Experience in highly regulated environments advantageous
  4. Previous knowledge of glove box design not essential
  5. Familiarity with AutoDesk products (Inventor)
