The General Merchandise sector encompasses home goods, decor, fashion, beauty, and entertainment, along with our exceptional TU and Habitat brands. We enhance our customers' shopping experience beyond just groceries, and your leadership in this area is crucial to the overall customer journey. Reporting to the Lead General Merchandise Manager, your role will concentrate on effective in-store operations, ensuring that your department functions seamlessly on a daily basis.
You will manage a medium to large in-store team – delegating tasks and organizing breaks, creating schedules, addressing performance matters with sensitivity and effectiveness, and assisting with recruitment efforts. As a visible leader on the sales floor, you will serve as a role model who promotes training and fosters an environment where everyone feels included, and team members feel empowered to question existing processes.

• You are assisting the Lead General Merchandise Manager in achieving enhanced customer and retail results in your area.
