Position Overview
CTG is looking to hire a Workstation Technician to provide support for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: Long-term contract
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, evening shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various business units to ensure that hardware and software requests are processed efficiently.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly labeled according to organizational standards.
- Research and verify device specifications to align with purchase orders and company policies.
- Work independently to install and relocate equipment as needed, providing exceptional customer service and technical support.
- Act as a technical liaison in the field, coordinating with other support services.
- Provide training to end users, explaining essential concepts related to hardware and software requirements.
- Maintain an inventory of necessary supplies and equipment for installations and repairs.
- Evaluate and manage equipment in accordance with IT security policies.
- Be available for overtime and on-call duties as required.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in software and hardware requirements
- Effective scheduling abilities
- Inventory management
- Helpdesk support experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in retail sales is a plus
- Excellent communication and liaison skills
- Ability to conduct end-user training

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in customer service, specifically in supporting desktop computing hardware and peripherals.
- Alternatively, an Associate's degree or two years of Technical School training in Computers, Technology, Electronics, or a related field is acceptable.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, along with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse audience.
