Key Responsibilities:

The focus of this role is to enhance the visibility of the brand, uphold a positive public image, and ensure comprehensive media representation. Your main duties will include:

  • Crafting a detailed PR and partnership strategy in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager, supported by a PR agency for execution.
  • Overseeing the PR agency and managing associated expenditures.
  • Boosting brand visibility through securing favorable media coverage on both local and national levels.
  • Generating, overseeing, and approving diverse content types, including press releases, newsletters, blogs, and thought leadership articles.
  • Establishing and nurturing robust relationships with key media outlets, brand partners, and stakeholders within the travel and tourism sector, including tourist boards.
  • Organizing and managing media engagement initiatives such as press trips, media inquiries, and interviews.
  • Conducting research, outreach, and management of brand partners in alignment with a strategic partnership framework and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborating with existing partners to implement activation plans that align with strategic goals set with the Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Creating a measurement framework to communicate results and monitor return on investment.
  • Engaging with the broader marketing team and other departments to transform customer experiences into positive narratives.
  • Preparing design briefs for all PR & partnerships materials with assistance from the Marketing Services Executive.
  • Gaining insights into the market and competitive landscape to provide trends and insights during marketing and product team discussions.
  • Working alongside the Senior Marketing Manager to manage the PR agency budget and assess ROI from partnerships.
  • Occasional travel may be required, with expenses covered.

Candidate Profile:

We invite applications from individuals who possess the following essential qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a PR role, whether in an agency or in-house setting.
  • Experience in managing a PR agency or working within one.
  • A relevant degree in English, Media, Journalism, or Communications is preferred.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with media, senior stakeholders, and members.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated project management experience.
  • A natural collaborator who thrives under pressure and communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors is advantageous.
