About the Role

As a Salesforce Platform Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading our Salesforce Developers, Administrators, and Analysts to design, develop, and implement salesforce solutions that align with the business needs.

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, with our head office based in Runcorn, Cheshire. Hybrid working is available, and the candidate must be able to commute to Runcorn when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Salesforce Developers, Administrators, and Analysts and foster a collaborative team environment
    • Establish goals and project milestones and provide continuous feedback to team members
  • Platform Management
    • Oversee the design, deployment, and customization of the platform
    • Manage the customization of Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and Apex Code
  • Change Advisory Board
    • Run a CAB (change advisory board) within the business to ensure all changes and developments in the platform are aligned with the business goals
  • Roadmap Development
    • Develop and maintain a roadmap for Salesforce enhancements and new features and to keep well-informed of the new rollout features the platform will offer the business long term
  • Project Management
    • Manage the lifecycle of all related projects, including larger projects (with supporting third parties) and working with wider development teams to drive business transformation
  • Integration
    • Lead the integration with our global ERM system (SAP) and other business-specific applications
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Extensive experience of managing a Salesforce Development team
    • Experience with integration platforms and developing a system in line with Validation regulations
    • Experience implementing Salesforce in large organizations
  • Qualifications
    • Relevant qualifications or certifications in Salesforce development and management
