Job Description

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our Residential Home in Hackney. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a mixed staff team and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service to complex needs young people.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise a team of staff and ensure they receive appropriate support and guidance to deliver high-quality care to young people.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to young people, including the implementation of support plans and the monitoring of progress.
  • Performance Management: Manage the performance of staff, including setting targets, monitoring progress, and taking action to address any performance issues.
  • Staff Development: Ensure that all staff receive appropriate induction, training, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure that the service is delivered in accordance with contractual requirements and that all necessary records are kept.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience of working with young people and parents/families, including experience of managing a team and delivering a high-quality service.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young people, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of safeguarding procedures for adults and children, including experience of working within an assessment and support planning process relevant to the customer group.
