Firewall Security Lead

As a Firewall Security Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and security of our network infrastructure. Your expertise will guide the technical security engineering efforts to define and implement robust Firewall Infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide expert technical security engineering support to ensure that Firewall Infrastructure requirements are effectively defined and integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strategic Vision: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Three's network and establish a long-term strategic vision for Firewall Infrastructure.
- Budget and Planning: Contribute to budget planning and roadmap development for Firewall Infrastructure, including capacity planning and service enhancements.
- Project Collaboration: Assist Programme and Project Managers in project planning, risk management, and budgeting processes.
- Solution Recommendations: Recommend Firewall Infrastructure solutions and provide design input, ensuring technical approvals and governance of project deliveries.
- Policy Implementation: As the Subject Matter Expert (SME), enhance and support the implementation of firewall security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Lifecycle Management: Ensure effective management of Firewall Infrastructure lifecycle, including asset, performance, fault, configuration, capacity, incident, problem, and change management.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the wider Transport team and other stakeholders to provide technical support and guidance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Articulate the Firewall Infrastructure product vision and standards to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Audit and Reporting: Conduct regular audits of Firewall Infrastructure and generate comprehensive reports on its status.
- Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with partners to monitor Firewall Infrastructure performance and address any issues that arise.
- Documentation Governance: Create, review, and approve documentation related to requirements, architecture, design, and testing, ensuring effective governance.
- Industry Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of industry standards and continuously evolve your technical expertise.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Firewall Management, with a proven track record as a Firewall Engineer or Architect.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of firewall technologies and network principles, including protocols and routing.
- In-depth knowledge of leading firewall solutions such as Check Point, Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
- Desirable certifications: Check Point CCSM/CCSE/CCSA, Cisco CCIE/CCNP Security, Fortinet Certified Associate, Palo Alto PCNSE/PCNSA.
