About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative registered nurse to join our Occupational Health nursing team across Cardiff and Vale UHB and Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the provision and development of a proactive Occupational Health Service for employees of Cardiff and Vale UHB and Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB and external agencies.
  • Assess clinical care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate clinical care programmes in accordance with agreed policy.
  • Manage day-to-day clinic activity.
Requirements
  • Registered nurse NMC Sub part 1.
  • Evidence of relevant professional development.
  • Post basic qualification at either diploma or degree level in Occupational Health or relevant subject, or working towards.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Registered nurse NMC Sub part 3 BSc SCPHN - OH.
  • Diploma in OH nursing.
  • NEBOSH qualification.
  • Relevant teaching qualification.
  • Relevant health promotion qualification.
  • Relevant management qualification.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • I.T. skills.
  • Knowledge of the health and wellbeing agenda.
  • Knowledge of current Health & Safety Regulations.
Personal Qualities
  • Flexible approach to multi-site working across CAV UHB and CTM UHB.
  • Ability to energise and engage self and others.
  • Evidence of practicing the UHB Values and Behaviours.
