Job Title: Waking Night Support Worker

Highbridge Resourcing is a leading Social Care Agency recruiting a Level 3 qualified Support Worker to work with a vulnerable young female on a 2 to 1 care package based in Weston Super Mare.

About the Role

The young person is between 16-18 years old and has complex mental health needs. She lives in her own accommodation and requires a waking night support worker 2-3 nights per week, possibly more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 2 to 1 care package support to the young person
  • Work collaboratively with the young person to achieve their goals and aspirations
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the young person
  • Ensure the young person's safety and well-being at all times
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 months paid experience in children's/young people or similar support worker role in the UK
  • The ability to work alone as lone working is required
