NOV Process Systems is on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Field Optimization Lead to become part of our dynamic team. This position demands a client-focused mindset and a comprehensive knowledge of process systems and Oil & Gas production methodologies. Core Responsibilities:
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison at customer locations, addressing operational challenges related to plant and equipment.
  • Technical Direction: Facilitate technical discussions, conduct site evaluations, and produce audit and recommendation documentation.
  • Issue Resolution: Oversee quotation and implementation processes to pinpoint and rectify underlying issues affecting operational efficiency.
  • Process Engineering Knowledge: Leverage expertise in process engineering and technologies pertinent to Oil & Gas production, including multi-phase separation, produced water management, sand handling, seawater processing, gas treatment (dehydration and sweetening), and hydrate prevention systems.
  • Technological Proficiency: Engage with technology at the component level, applying a robust understanding of fluid dynamics and chemical processes.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Foster effective communication and collaboration with the broader Brownfield support team.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, or Process Engineering is highly desirable.
  • Significant experience in Oil & Gas production operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with process systems.
  • Strong technical grasp of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control principles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to lead and facilitate technical discussions and client engagements.
  • Robust problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
