Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Engineering and Manufacturing to lead our team in delivering high-quality engineering and manufacturing programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering and manufacturing, with experience in curriculum development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a broad and high-quality curriculum offer in engineering and manufacturing
  • Lead on the development and delivery of forward-looking curricula, incorporating emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Maintain and build upon existing stakeholder relationships with key employers
  • Enhance the learner experience and promote positive progression and destination
  • Support local and regional organizations and projects to meet their future workforce needs

Requirements:

  • Degree or relevant qualification at Level 4 and a teaching qualification of a minimum of Level 5
  • Knowledge and experience of current practices and innovations in the sector and in Further Education
  • Evidence of effective team management and quality improvement
