About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Study Trips Operations Coordinator to join our team at Diversity Travel. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of our educational group tours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising with Clients: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, providing regular updates on tour logistics and planning.
  • Supplier Management: Collaborate with our network of suppliers to deliver high-quality itineraries that meet our clients' tour objectives.
  • Booking Handover: Work closely with our Sales Executives to ensure a seamless handover of bookings, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Value-Added Services: Identify opportunities to provide additional value and enhance the tour experience for our clients.
  • Documentation and Administration: Dispatch necessary documentation to clients and ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Hotel Prepayment: Liaise with hotels to ensure timely prepayment and confirm tour arrangements.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with our product team to continuously improve and develop our tour products and database.
Requirements
  • Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ideally gained in a travel reservations, retail travel, or event planning environment.
  • Travel Industry Knowledge: Possess a working knowledge of a Global Distribution System (GDS).
  • Initiative and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a high-volume and varied environment.
  • Time Management: Possess good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: Salary up to £26k (dependent on experience) plus OTE bonus £6k (linked to performance).
  • Annual Leave: 31.5 days Annual Leave (including bank holidays), rising by 1 day (pro rata) after 12 months of service.

  • Hybrid Working: Work from our Manchester City Centre office or from home, with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days office and 2 days working from home.
