Tax & Structuring - Knowledge Lawyer

Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax and Structuring Knowledge Lawyer to join our team at DiverseJobsMatter. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Tax and Structuring team by generating, aggregating, and facilitating access to top-tier precedents, sample documents, practice notes, training materials, and additional resources for our legal team and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically leverage legal knowledge and writing skills to create engaging content for our target audiences, including clients, industry peers, and the wider legal community.
- Oversee the development and management of our knowledge database and resources, preparing internal practice notes, and streamlining processes for greater efficiency and technological advancement in legal services.
- Pioneer and implement innovative knowledge management and sharing strategies to benefit both colleagues and clients.
- Network widely across our Firm, building relationships with relevant Partners and other subject matter experts within the business as sources of ideas, expertise, and sponsorship for thought leadership content.
- Draft and maintain corporate precedents, including automated precedents.
- Manage precedents, including drafting, and updating precedents, but also enlisting fee-earner contribution to precedent.
Requirements
- Have an excellent commercial legal background, typically as a qualified solicitor (private practice or in-house) working in a corporate tax transactional focused role (ideally though not necessarily with experience of real estate and/or finance tax issues as well). You will have at least 5 years+ PQE.
- Have demonstrable experience of accurately understanding and communicating changes in law and regulations to colleagues and clients in a concise and commercially relevant way.
- Exceptional writing and editorial skills, with a proven track record of producing high-quality, engaging content.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to align content creation with business development objectives.
- Strong networking and relationship building skills.
