Job Title: Additive Manufacturing Operative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Additive Manufacturing Operative to join our team at Aston Martin F1 Team. As a key member of our Model Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our additive manufacturing machines and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain additive manufacturing machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform post-processing builds for all technologies and ensure high-quality finishes.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on machines and workshop equipment.
  • Use hand tools to finish DMLS printed parts to drawing specifications.
  • Work in line with 5S lean manufacturing principles to maintain a safe and organized working environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with safe working practices for all technologies and attend regular safety meetings.
  • Collaborate with the team to monitor consumables, improve processes, and achieve departmental goals.
  • Perform any tasks delegated by the team leader and contribute to the overall success of the department.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in additive manufacturing, preferably in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the team.
  • Adaptable and flexible mindset, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
