Position Overview

As a key member of our Marketing & Communications team, the Social Media & PR Executive will collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager and Media Manager to create, schedule, and disseminate engaging social media and public relations content. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the social media presence of Affinity Water, contributing to the planning and execution of campaigns aimed at achieving specific objectives and regulatory commitments.
  • Support the creation of captivating content, including images, videos, social media posts, blogs, articles, and press releases.
  • Monitor and analyze social media and PR-related metrics, generating reports to evaluate the success of campaigns and partnerships.
  • Engage with customer feedback and comments across social media platforms.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including generating purchase orders and securing necessary approvals for expenditures.
  • Collaborate with various departments and creative partners to develop a cohesive and effective social media and PR strategy.
  • Champion the latest trends in social media and PR, ensuring that all content aligns with our brand identity and messaging guidelines.
  • Implement social media campaigns focused on influencing customer behavior and enhancing brand awareness.
  • Support internal teams with community responses and local notifications.
  • Contribute to the overall reputation management strategy, particularly in relation to social media and PR.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow in digital marketing areas such as SEM, SEO, and display advertising.
  • Ensure compliance with all content and messaging standards.
  • Occasionally represent the Social Media and PR team at off-site events or site visits.
  • Assist in developing a Social Media Crisis Response toolkit to effectively manage potential customer issues.
  • Participate in an on-call crisis communications team, prepared to respond to urgent situations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with various social media platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Experience in targeting and segmenting diverse audience groups, with a strong background in social asset production and customer communications.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Understanding of social media tactics, algorithms, and content types.
  • Strong copywriting abilities and effective time management skills.
  • Capability to create visual content, including images and videos.
  • Experience in managing partner agencies and understanding social media KPIs and monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics, including Google Analytics.
