Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Theatre Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Materials team at HCA Healthcare UK. This role is critical in providing a high-quality Materials Management Service to our theatres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of materials management for allocated theatre inventories
  • Coordinate stock control functions within theatres, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management
  • Liaise with theatre staff to understand their requirements for goods and services, providing timely and accurate support
  • Manage departmental product invoice approval and payments, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Conduct quarterly cycle counts, recording and filing results for audit compliance
  • Perform end-of-year stock takes, following best practices to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Provide monthly statistical information to stakeholders on high-value product usage, including prosthesis and loan equipment
  • Undertake additional tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the Materials Service to the Theatre department

Requirements

  • Previous experience in materials management is essential
  • Working towards a purchasing qualification is desirable
  • Experience in supply chain management within a healthcare environment is highly valued
