About the Role

A leading provider of affordable housing across the social housing sector is seeking a highly skilled Senior Citrix Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the Technology Department, you will be responsible for the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Citrix VDI Infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer the Citrix VDI Infrastructure and services, ensuring seamless delivery of virtual desktops to end-users.
  • Collaborate with various teams to support and improve Citrix infrastructure operations, driving continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Manage the Citrix Work Plan, ensuring effective service delivery by assessing client needs and liaising with third parties and vendors for service management.
  • Contribute to project delivery and operational change through change requests, maintaining Citrix monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Uphold security and governance within the Citrix environment, managing complex multi-site Citrix infrastructure operations.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud, Active Directory, Group Policies, Citrix Profile Management, Provisioning Services, NetScaler, VMware ESX, and networking.
  • Expertise in applications packaging, databases, storage, networking, and security.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Proven track record of managing complex multi-site Citrix infrastructure operations.
  • Experience with Citrix service upgrades and migrations.
  • Familiarity with Control Up is desirable.
  • Strong project management and delivery skills.
  • Recent Citrix certifications to Professional level are desirable.
  • Excellent demand management, planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience in ITIL environments and processes, preferably using ServiceNow.
