Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable transactions accurately and promptly.
  • Review and validate invoices for correctness and completeness.
  • Handle payments to vendors and guarantee timely disbursement.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and address any discrepancies.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and payment status.
  • Aid in the month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with accounting software like Sage 50 Accounts, Xero, or QuickBooks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to operate autonomously and cooperatively within a team setting.

Compensation: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (experience-dependent)
