About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor / Employer's Agent to join our expanding hotel and leisure team in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage estimating and cost planning activities for new build and refurbishment hotel and leisure projects.
  • Apply value management techniques to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Liaise with clients and design teams to monitor progress on site and ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Attend site meetings, answer queries, issue variations, and ensure cost reporting is accurate.
  • Coordinate FF&E orders and proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow.
  • Negotiate and agree Final Accounts with clients.
  • Coordinate a successful and timely Practical Completion.
Requirements
  • Relevant quantity surveying experience, ideally from a leisure, hotel, or retail background.
  • Self-motivated, with own transport and willingness to travel nationwide to customer locations.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Ambitious and looking to progress QS career through to Senior QS, Principal QS, and Directorship.
