A&P Group, Falmouth - Management Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at A&P Falmouth. As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial guidance to support business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts as well as year-end audited accounts, reporting on profit and loss, key performance indicators, and undertaking variance analysis.
- Monitor and analyse performance and budgets, generating and following up on financial reports to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions and improve financial performance.
Requirements:
- AAT qualified or above with experience in a similar role within a busy finance function.
- Expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to work under your own initiative to deliver what's needed, when it's needed.
- Microsoft Excel skills and experience of working with key accounting systems such as Sage would be great.

Due to the nature of what we do for some of the customers that we work with, some roles working for A&P are subject to security control restrictions.
You must also undergo a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check before your employment starts, which will include a basic DBS check.
