Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Front of House Team Member to join our team at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients and guests have an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests, responding to their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to deliver high-quality events and exhibitions.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, including the preparation of food and beverage services.
  • Operate cash handling and till systems, processing transactions and managing cash and credit card payments.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services, including food and beverage options and event packages.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, guests, and colleagues.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling and till operations.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
