About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in West Cornwall. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with substance misuse issues to achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients to identify their goals and develop personalized recovery plans
  • Provide one-to-one support and guidance to clients, promoting healthy behaviors and coping strategies
  • Collaborate with other services and agencies to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor client progress and adjust support plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress
Requirements
  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience of working with individuals with substance misuse issues, preferably in a community or residential setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
