Recovery Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Recovery Worker to join our team in Truro, Cornwall. As a Recovery Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group, working primarily as a duty worker at our Truro office.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls in a busy duty office and responding to clients who utilise our drop-in service.
- Working with clients to help them determine their goals, ambitions, and passions, and creating a treatment plan tailored to their needs.
- Building meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues, and working collaboratively to provide the best support and treatment.
- Being resilient under pressure and able to prioritise your work, with excellent communication skills and IT competence.

Requirements
- ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent, with a successful track record of working or volunteering in health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist settings.
- Demonstrable experience of working or volunteering with people who have experienced substance misuse issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
