About the Role

iQ Student Accommodation is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our student accommodation sites, ensuring that they are run efficiently, safely, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Coach, develop, and motivate your team to drive performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement proactive and strategic approaches to people planning, ensuring that our sites are well-staffed and equipped to meet the needs of our students.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Promote resident satisfaction and retention by actively attracting five-star reviews and ensuring that any complaints and service issues are dealt with promptly and effectively.
  • Financial Management: Conduct monthly financial performance reviews for each site, ensuring that our financial targets are met and exceeded.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that our sites are compliant with all relevant health and safety standards, and that we are managing risk effectively.
  • Operational Efficiency: Manage and monitor the scheduling of planned maintenance and reporting processes, ensuring that our sites are well-maintained and that we are minimizing downtime.
