About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fastener Lead Engineer - Chassis to join our dynamic Engineering team at Forseven, a revolutionary company transforming the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices.

This is a hybrid role operating out of our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, where you will have the opportunity to work alongside visionary minds in the automotive field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver ownership of Chassis Fasteners, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
  • Support Design and Development (D&D) to meet targets in terms of joint assessment based on hardpoints loads, involving preload and slip calculations, strength & FOS assessment & package.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to design, test, and validate chassis and joints systems.
  • Define product technical specifications that meet vehicle system, manufacturing, service, and quality targets.
  • Develop and implement Design Verification Plans (DVP) to support track and rig tests.
  • Define CAE and durability boundary conditions and targets.
  • Monitor engineering completion, including DFMEA progress, part releases, and DVP status.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in chassis and joints design for automotive applications.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles related to structural analysis and system integration.
  • Proficient in using CAD software for designing and modeling chassis and joints systems.
  • Experience in conducting advanced engineering analysis, such as finite element analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
