Job Title: Domestic Transport Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Supervisor to lead our night shift operation in Bury St Edmunds. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Transport Manager to ensure the smooth running of our fleet and support the delivery of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of drivers and support staff to achieve operational excellence
  • Work closely with the Transport Manager to develop and implement effective transportation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Monitor and improve fleet performance, including vehicle maintenance and driver safety
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain management

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a transport management role, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry standards
