We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd.

You will work closely with our management team to develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality. Your expertise will be essential in driving business growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Create and implement a culture of safety and wellbeing within the team
- Analyse and implement changes to improve quality and productivity
- Oversee projects to streamline processes and improve customer service
- Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices
- Develop and implement process improvements within the area of responsibility
You will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, ensuring it is as productive as possible. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards.
You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation. A typical day will be varied, including routine team management, daily operational responsibilities, process improvement, and operational contingency tasks.
About the TeamAmazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers.
Our goal is to make our customers' delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.

Sheffield, ZET, GBR
Basic Qualifications- A degree
- Relevant experience in people management
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language
