Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Silicon and Cloud partners to deliver optimal solutions
  • Address vulnerabilities and promote kernel fortification
  • Improve the performance and dependability of the Ubuntu Linux kernel
  • Streamline the packaging and distribution of third-party components
  • Ensure the delivery of Ubuntu Linux at scale while adhering to rigorous quality standards

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of *nix-based kernels and distributions
  • Skilled in C, Python, and Bash scripting
  • Familiar with the git version control system
  • Open to international travel twice a year

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in real-time performance analysis
  • Understanding of Ubuntu/Debian/Snap packaging
  • Expertise in kernel patching and debugging
  • Solid grasp of device drivers and low-level system engineering
