About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Pharmacist to join our team at The Boots Company PLC. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer and patient care across a range of pharmacies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivering Pharmacy Strategy

As a Relief Pharmacist, you will be accountable for delivering the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice to customers and patients.

Accountability and Ethics

You will be responsible for making legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy, ensuring that you are always acting in the best interests of our customers and patients.

Building Pharmacy Capability

You will be responsible for building the pharmacy capability of store teams, providing training and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge they need to provide excellent customer and patient care.

Continual Review and Improvement

You will be responsible for conducting continual review through audit, observations, and risk assessment to ensure that customer and patient safety is paramount.

Delivering Professional Pharmacy Services

You will be responsible for delivering a range of professional pharmacy services, including providing expert advice and care to customers and patients.

Requirements

  • Professional Qualifications

You must be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).

Professional Expertise

You must demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers, and external local professionals.

Passion for Community Pharmacy

You must have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers.

Collaborative Approach

You must be collaborative with a team-centered approach, working closely with other members of the pharmacy team to provide excellent customer and patient care.

Knowledge of Pharmacy Operations

You must have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services.

Communication Skills

You must be a great communicator, able to put people at ease and effectively meet the varied needs of our customers and patients.
