SAP Managed Services Development Team Lead

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled SAP technical professional to join our team as a SAP Managed Services Development Team Lead. As a key member of our global SAP Platinum Partner organization, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and overseeing the day-to-day management of a team of Managed Service Support Consultants delivering to a multitude of SAP ECC & S4 HANA customers.

About the Role
  • Provide high-level advisory and consultative support to the UK customer install base
  • Estimate and communicate deliverable status to stakeholders
  • Analyze, configure, and implement appropriate solutions with the support of Functional and Development Consultants when applicable
  • Test and document new solutions prior to assigning back to the customer
  • Communicate with customers and Service Delivery Managers, keeping all parties up-to-date with progress of deliverables
  • Problem solve and use your own initiative to look for solutions/opportunities
  • Understand business processes to arrange your own tasks and workload
  • Feed back potential solutions in a logical way for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Display leadership skills to support & guide junior team members
About You
  • 8+ years' experience developing SAP technical solutions for back and front end solutions
  • Demonstrate leadership in design of complex technical solutions
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience of Object Oriented programming and report writing using ALV and ABAP lists
  • Experience of generating Outputs using SapScripts, Smartforms & AdobeForms
  • Experience of developing workflow solutions
  • Experience of interfacing core SAP directly with external systems, and via PI/PO
  • Exposure to SAP C4C & CPI
  • Experience of SAP Enhancement Framework / techniques to modify code SAP
  • Experience of SAP Fiori, UI5, CDS Views, Custom apps, In app extensibility framework, Java / React js
  • Cross functional knowledge across SAP Functional Modules
  • Proven experience in a combined customer service handling / functional support role
  • Ability to perform peer reviews of proposed and delivered solutions
  • Capable of managing own workload with minimal supervision to tight deadlines
  • Able to prioritise and distribute team workload effectively
  • ITIL knowledge or certification is essential
