Resettlement and Integration Role

Our client, a leading charity, is dedicated to breaking the link between family income and academic achievement. They are now seeking a Resettlement and Integration Officer to join their team on a part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week, for a five-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of renewal.

The role involves supporting the successful resettlement and integration of refugees and migrants in the South Gloucestershire area. You will play a key role in providing quality advice, information, and guidance to various cohorts, including Ukrainian refugees and British Nationals Overseas visa holders, as part of the Resettling Communities Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering person-centred support to your designated caseload, conducting initial needs and risk assessments, developing personalised support plans, and providing ongoing, trauma-informed assistance.
  • Offering guidance on critical areas such as housing, finance, employment, education, and health, while helping individuals access relevant services and opportunities.
  • Delivering advice services at community hubs and organising social activities and workshops.
  • Developing partnerships with external organisations to enhance the support network.

Requirements:

  • An understanding of the importance of safeguarding, in relation to working with vulnerable adults.
  • A full, valid driving licence and access to a car.
