Job Summary

Lidl is seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Leader to join our warehouse team in Deutschland. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of warehouse operatives, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Ensure the warehouse is operated in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Lidl's health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management and control.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
