Job Title: Area Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Area Administrator to join our team at Mencap. As an Area Administrator, you will provide administrative support to our Service Managers and Area Operations Managers, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Service Managers and Area Operations Managers, including coordinating meetings, managing schedules, and preparing reports.
  • Monitor business processes and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, Payroll, Training, IT, and Resourcing teams.
  • Coordinate and report on information and data to support the Service Managers and Area Operations Managers.
  • Deliver a high-quality, efficient, and professional level of customer service to internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Typing and computer skills, particularly concerning Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience of drafting letters and reports.
  • Experience of being an administrative support, preferably to a management team.
  • Experience of telephone communication, including answering the office phone and taking messages.
  • Experience of note taking.
  • Experience of recruitment would be advantageous.
