The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team at Calvin Klein Oxford. As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a key role in achieving our sales and customer service goals, while ensuring a positive and inclusive store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and sales excellence.
  • Support the management team in managing store operations, including personnel, product, and merchandising functions.
  • Participate in weekly management meetings and other staff meetings to stay informed and aligned with company goals.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and customers to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Drive sales and exceed store targets through motivating the team and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Foster a positive store environment by treating all customers and colleagues with respect and fairness.
  • Support the team in delivering business strategy and ensuring consistent training on product knowledge and store maintenance.
  • Achieve company standards for personal sales results, including sales vs. budgets, sales per hour, and units per transaction.
  • Perform manager-on-duty functions, manage store opening/closing functions, and oversee the sales floor.
  • Focus staff on building quality relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure staff accountability for building a repeat customer base through spirited service.
  • Work with the management team to build a talent pool for key positions, including possible successors.

Requirements

  • Previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
  • Previous people management experience with the ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships with ease.
  • Team player who recognizes and celebrates the contributions and achievements of others.
  • Confident in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
  • Ability to work well with change, adapt quickly, and work with pace.
  • Energetic and authentic presence on the shop floor.
  • Approach all issues with a 'can do' attitude and act with initiative to find in-store solutions.
