Elvet Recruitment is seeking a skilled Freelance Foreman to join a Civil Engineering contractor's team on an ongoing project in the North East region. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Site Agent in delivering schemes and provide daily briefings to site staff.
- Deliver HSE toolbox talks and oversee gangs on the ground to ensure daily work delivery.
- Monitor H&S with regular audits and assist with supply chain and sub-contractor management.
- Conduct plant checks and obtain permits for the workforce.
- Must have experience working as a Foreman on civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Hold relevant certifications, including SMSTS/SSSTS, Temporary Works, Appointed Person, and First Aid.
- Detailed experience with structures and Public Realm works, including kerbing and drainage.
A competitive day rate of £250 to £300 per day is offered for successful candidates.
