Freelance Site Manager

Unite People is seeking a skilled Freelance Site Manager to oversee the construction of a multi-million pound new build project in the North East. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering new build accommodation projects and will be responsible for managing sub-let packages, ensuring the scheme is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, execute, and complete construction activity on site.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Manage relationships with sub-contractors onsite.
- Drive the project programme.
- Plan work ahead to maintain project pace.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Monitor and control costs, budgets, and commercial expectations onsite.
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Preferably experience of student accommodation builds or PRS builds, particularly frames/slabs.
- Strong people management experience.
- Ability to deal with conflicting priorities and challenging stakeholders and/or sub-contractors.
