We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Support Worker I to join our Mental Health Substance Use (MHSU) Homelessness team in Cranbrook, B.C.
As a Peer Support Worker, you will provide support to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges, helping them find and follow their own recovery paths without judgment or expectation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emotional and social support to clients living with substance use/mental illness
- Assist clients in accessing healthcare services, resources, and community supports
- Collaborate with the MHSU team to meet individual client needs and situational requirements
- Share your lived experience of recovery from a substance use disorder to inform your practice

As a Peer Support Worker, you will be required to share your lived experience of recovery from a substance use disorder, and to use this experience to inform your practice.
