Job Title: Private Client Tax Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to lead our tax team and deliver exceptional services to high-net-worth individuals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of private client tax advisory and compliance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Expert Guidance: Offer expert guidance and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals on a wide range of tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and non-domicile tax issues.
  • Develop Tax Planning Strategies: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize clients' tax positions and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Conduct Financial Reviews: Conduct in-depth reviews of client financial records and tax computations to ensure accuracy and identify potential tax-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare Tax Returns: Prepare and review complex personal tax returns, ensuring they are submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with Clients: Liaise directly with clients to build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor in all tax-related matters.
  • Manage Tax Team: Manage a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to support their professional development.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay up-to-date with the latest tax legislation changes and communicate their impact to clients and team members.
  • Collaborate with Departments: Collaborate with other departments within the accountancy practice to deliver comprehensive and seamless client service.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified, with extensive experience in private client tax advisory and compliance.
  • Expertise: Proven expertise in providing tax advice to high-net-worth individuals, including non-domiciled clients.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of current tax legislation and a track record of successful tax planning and mitigation.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of tax professionals.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client engagement and relationship building.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate tax computations and reporting.
  • Client Focus: Client-focused approach, dedicated to delivering outstanding service and building lasting client relationships.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite.
