Position Overview
TPF Recruitment is seeking a Client Accounts and Tax Supervisor to become part of a thriving firm of chartered accountants. This role offers an excellent opportunity within a well-regarded practice that values work-life balance and fosters a positive workplace culture. You will be responsible for overseeing a diverse client portfolio, which includes limited companies, sole proprietorships, and partnerships, adhering to FRS105, 102, and 102 1a standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establishing and nurturing client relationships.
  • Managing a portfolio of businesses, including sole traders, limited companies, and LLPs.
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements, corporate and personal tax filings, as well as VAT submissions.
  • Leading tax and accounts advisory initiatives and effectively communicating findings to clients.
  • Assessing and addressing risk management concerns.
  • Identifying potential tax optimization strategies for clients.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior team members.

Qualifications
  • ACA/ACCA certification or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in an accounting firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of FRS 102, 102 a, and 105.
  • Familiarity with IRIS and cloud-based accounting software such as Xero or Quickbooks is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary range of £50,000 - £60,000, commensurate with experience.
