Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Armstrong Knight, a top UK 100 accountancy firm. As an Audit and Accountancy Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and accountancy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Statutory Accounts and Audit: Review and finalise statutory accounts for submission to regulatory bodies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide timely updates on audit and accountancy matters.
  • Financial Analysis and Planning: Conduct financial analyses, prepare financial models, and provide recommendations to clients on financial planning and strategy.
  • Audit Team Management: Supervise and coach junior team members, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to deliver high-quality audit services.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, including anti-money laundering requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in audit and accountancy, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services.
  • Qualifications: Qualified ACA/ICAS or equivalent, with a strong understanding of current economic and market trends.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills, and a high level of initiative.
  • Education: Educated up to degree level or CTS, with a strong understanding of financial analysis and planning.
