Job Summary:

GCB Recruitment is seeking an experienced Head of Property Management to join our client's busy office in Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an individual portfolio of properties and overseeing the team to ensure exceptional customer service and administrative tasks are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an individual portfolio of properties, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Oversee the team, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Operate within a given budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  • Maintain communication with a wide branch network, ensuring seamless collaboration and information sharing.
  • Organize and conduct property visits, inventories, and check-ins to ensure properties are well-maintained.
  • Appoint and monitor contractors, organizing quotes for repair and maintenance on behalf of landlords.
  • Resolve deposit issues and ensure statute obligations are met.
  • Collect rent and administer new tenancies and tenancy extensions.
  • Perform general office administration, including responding to customer inquiries and emails.

Requirements:

  • Previous Property Manager experience is essential.
  • ARLA qualification is desirable.
  • Highly organized and positive work ethic.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Computer literate and proficient in using relevant software.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Upbeat personality and strong work ethic.
