About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker at our Lakeview care home in Wigan.

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults living with complex care needs to live their best lives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Personal Care to individuals with varying needs
  • Assisting with Meal Times to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience
  • Understanding Individual Health and Wellbeing Needs to provide tailored support
  • Encouraging and Supporting individuals to participate in social activities
  • Promoting Choice, Dignity, Independence, and Respect in all aspects of care
  • Completing and Maintaining Care Records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information

We have higher-than-average staffing levels, with up to six colleagues on each unit supporting around ten people, allowing for more time to spend with the individuals you support.

About You

We value relevant experience and qualifications, but they are not essential for this role.
