Job Summary:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team in a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals, enabling them to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage Independence: Support individuals to make their own choices and decisions, promoting autonomy and self-determination.
  • Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of service users, adhering to care plans and protocols.
  • Personal Care: Provide varying levels of personal care, respecting individual needs and boundaries.
  • Community Engagement: Take service users out into the community, participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care and support.

Requirements:

  • Compassion and Empathy: Demonstrate a caring and empathetic approach, understanding the needs and experiences of individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Resilience and Adaptability: Show resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing needs and circumstances.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license, essential for transporting service users.
  • Personal Qualities: Be willing to provide personal care, demonstrate a positive attitude, and contribute to a supportive team environment.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £26,400 - £26,926 (including sleeps) with opportunities for overtime.
  • Full-Time Contract: 40 hours per week, with one sleep per week.
