Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Support Worker to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs in Colwyn Bay, Conwy.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensuring the safety of service users.
  • Following care plans for each individual.
  • Taking service users out into the community.
  • Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support. Essential requirements include:

  • No experience is required.
  • Must be resilient.
  • Drivers are essential due to the location.
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
What We Offer

We offer a range of benefits, including:

  • Competitive salary: £26,400 - £26,926 (including sleeps) with plenty of overtime available.
  • Full-time hours: 40 hours per week with 1 sleep per week.
  • Permanent contract.
  • A variety of shifts, including optional sleeps and weekends.
  • Location: Colwyn Bay, Conwy.
