Job Title: Relief Security Officer

Location: Regent Arcade Shopping Centre

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate

Shift Pattern: Flexible - As and when required, 12 hours per week

At ABM, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Regent Arcade Shopping Centre in Cheltenham. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and visitors. You will be the public face of our Security Team and should always act with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and tenants
  • Carry out regular patrols of the shopping centre as detailed in the site Assignment Instructions
  • Ensure exemplary standards in personal grooming and adhere to the site uniform requirements
  • Ensure the site is a safe and non-threatening environment for all visitors and tenants
  • Liaise with site control room and proactively react to incidents
  • Help third-party contractors and visitors ensure all site procedures and policies are adhered to
  • Liaise closely with statutory authorities and deal with incidents
  • Ensure radio procedures are always adhered to
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Assignment Instructions (AIs)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-focused
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Basic computer literacy required

Essential Requirements:

  • SIA Guarding or Door Supervisor license
  • SIA CCTV license or willingness to work towards
