Warehouse Operations Specialist

ROLE SUMMARY
The Warehouse Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in managing inventory levels and supporting order fulfillment, tasked with the responsibility of loading and unloading products for the production department on a daily basis.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the workflow within the shipping department to ensure seamless operations without interruptions or delays Engages in constant movement of products, requiring a keen attention to detail Responsible for packing, labeling, and organizing all outgoing shipments Capable of performing basic arithmetic functions such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication Operates heavy machinery including forklifts and pallet jacks Demonstrates strong inventory management skills Executes additional tasks as assignedSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Forklift operation experience is preferred Exceptional attention to detail Quick to learn and a collaborative team player Strong verbal and written communication abilities Excellent organizational skills Effective time management capabilitiesADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum age of 21 years Successful completion of a thorough background check is mandatoryPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry a minimum of 100 lbs to a height of at least 5 feet and move such weight a distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance Capability to work in seated or standing positions for extended periods, maintaining balance while climbing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and using hands/fingers for various tasks Must handle organic materials daily and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary, with exposure to varying environmental conditions Visual acuity is required for tasks such as reading and inspecting small parts, with clarity of vision at 20 feet or more in both day and night conditions Ability to communicate verbally at conversational levels in a moderately noisy environmentCompensation will be based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off. This position typically requires an average of 40 hours per week, with availability for after-hours emergencies as needed.
