Position Overview
In the role of an Insurance Account Handler, you will be instrumental in overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients and their respective insurance policies. Your primary focus will be to engage with clients to assess their needs, offer expert guidance, and ensure they receive optimal insurance solutions. This position is office-based and requires full-time commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, comprehensively understanding their insurance needs and delivering professional advice.
- Policy Administration: Manage the complete administration process of personal insurance policies, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
- Renewals and Upselling: Actively oversee policy renewals, identify opportunities for upselling, and contribute to the expansion of the client portfolio.
- Market Awareness: Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and new product offerings to provide well-informed advice to clients.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including underwriters and claims experts, to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions.
Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following skills:
- Preferably some familiarity or experience within the insurance or financial services sector, though full training will be provided.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in IT, particularly with all MS Office applications.
- A collaborative spirit, capable of thriving in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Note: This role requires a commitment to a standard office schedule, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.
