Oakleaf Partnership is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team as an HR Advisor for our Graduate Programme. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the onboarding process, organizing events, and managing the graduate rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Graduate Onboarding: Assist graduates with pre- and post-joining processes, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Event Management: Organize and host events, including the annual graduate Meet and Greet and Induction, to foster a sense of community and belonging among graduates.
- Graduate Rotation Management: Manage the London graduate rotation, ensuring proper exposure for APC attainment and career development.
- HR Administration: Provide follow-up rotation support, including appraisals, HR system updates, IT updates, and ER casework management.
- Guidance and Support: Offer guidance on company procedures to graduates, supervisors, and mentors, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance, absence cases, probation, and sickness notifications, taking proactive steps to address any issues that may arise.
- Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews to gather valuable feedback and insights for improving the graduate experience.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with HR Business Partners on graduate-related matters, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to talent development.
- Global Rotations: Facilitate global rotations, placements, and secondments, providing opportunities for graduates to gain international experience and skills.
- Remuneration Process: Support the annual remuneration process, ensuring fair and competitive compensation for graduates.
- Payroll Administration: Handle monthly payroll administration for graduates and leavers, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Graduate Committee Initiatives: Assist with Graduate Committee initiatives, contributing to the development of innovative and engaging programs for graduates.
- Transition Support: Support the transition from graduate to Newly Qualified, including APC preparation, contract and payroll administration, and event organization for Newly Qualified Drinks.
- Reporting: Generate reports for ad-hoc requests, providing valuable insights and data to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- Exceptional Planning and Organizational Skills: Proven ability to plan and organize events, rotations, and administrative tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with graduates, supervisors, and mentors.
- Attention to Detail and Resilience: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with ease and resilience.
- Enthusiasm and Self-Motivation: Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a passion for HR and talent development.
- Diplomatic and Discreet: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proactive and Ownership Mindset: Proactive and results-driven individual with a sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality results.
- Advanced MS Office Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, with the ability to create reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.
- HR/Early Careers Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in HR or Early Careers, with a strong understanding of employment law and graduate training.
- CIPD Qualification: Ideally CIPD qualified, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
