Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

United Living Group is a leading provider of sustainable solutions, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day activities on our Yorkshire Water and Anglian Water frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring programme requirements are met, working in line with both Company and divisional objectives, and achieving client and customer aspirations and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage projects to achieve targets in respect of safety, time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  2. Develop and implement strategic programmes of works, monitoring progress to ensure projects meet targets.
  3. Prepare and manage project delivery plans, including detailed short-term programmes, and make amendments as necessary.
  4. Oversee design, safety, quality management, resource planning, programme management, and commercial management.
  5. Manage the Company's obligations and rights under the terms of the contract.
  6. Act as a strong leader of HSQ&E, promoting high standards of health and safety and environmental management.
  7. Ensure accurate and legally compliant HSQ&E activity and reporting, highlighting and resolving concerns when identified.
  8. Staff projects adequately, lead and manage effectively, and maintain high levels of commitment and morale.
  9. Support the Contracts Manager in managing areas of opportunity and risk that may impact on the business plan.
  10. Work closely with the Commercial team to ensure commercial and operations matters are fully aligned and managed.

Requirements:

  • Must be an experienced Senior Operations/Project Manager with a proven track record of successful delivery of projects from start to finish.
  • Commercial and programming awareness, with experience with NEC form of contract.
  • Site management safety certificate (SMSTS / IOSH Managing Safely).
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office programmes; Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Experience on similar works for Yorkshire/ Anglian water would be advantageous.
  • Experience managing high-value projects or portfolios.
  • Willing to travel on a weekly basis, lodging where required.
  • Full UK driving license.

This is a full-time permanent role, 8am-5pm Monday to Friday from our Garforth Office. Hybrid working is acceptable.
